Grandparents are the founders of loving legacy. They are the most precious treasure and support system of a family. To recognize their vital role in a family life, a Grandparents 'Day was celebrated where in large number of Grandparents attended their special day.
Event : Toy Day

Toys are much more than play things, they are the best tools for children to learn and grow. As they are valuable objects for holistic development of children ' A Toy Day ' was planned where in children brought their favourite toy from home and shared it with their buddies.
Event : Master Stroke Competition
Experiencing healthy competition fosters time management and provides motivation. Children push themselves harder and achieve better results in competitive settings. In Master stroke competition children showcased their art and imagination by drawing and colouring "The Colourful balloon seller".
Celebration : Yoga and Music Day

"Movement and melody unite the body and mind."
In yoga, we find harmony and in music we find rhythm. Children started the day with chanting "Om" and also learnt doing different asanas. They also saw different musical instruments used by our deities.

'Tiny Hands Big Learning'
Pre-Writing Skills helps the child to build its finger strength. eye-hand co-ordination, wrist movement and grip to hold any object in perfect way. It also develops the ability of a child to hold and move the pencil effectively Jr.KG children jointly practiced all the pre-writing activities like paper tearing, crumpling, and pasting, buttoning shirts, clipping, threading beads, closing and opening of bottle etc. Overall, it was a fun filled activity involving learning.

'Splash into colours'
Colour recognition helps children to recognise different objects, which enhances linguistic skills. Children learnt colours with different activities like using red blue, yellow dupatta and sorting and all placing different coloured beads in Caterpillar, further they had first hand experience with black and white colour. Overall, they learnt colours are special in their own unique way.

“The Mirror reveals the true reflection of oneself.”
Our little ones had so much fun exploring their reflections in the mirror! They giggled, posed and proudly described what they saw - building confidence, self-awareness and also enhancing descriptive vocabulary using words like happy, tall, smart etc.

Family provides love, support and values to each of its members. Children came dressed up and enacted the role of each family members. They also understood the importance of each member in the family.

Fruits are the fuel for a healthy body and a happy soul. Children had first hand experience with varieties of fruit cutouts. They classified them into juicy, pulpy, one seeded, many seeded, seedless and uncommon fruits. They also learnt about importance of dry fruits in their life and enjoyed eating them.

In science Experiments of water, children understood the concept of soluble and insoluble and had hands on experience on Air pressure experiment. They also enjoyed the float and sink concept with objects brought from home.

"Colours complete the beautiful picture of life."
Children lit up the room with colour and creativity during the "Colourful Dupatta Activity" from swirling patterns to playful poses, they explored vibrant hues and imaginative styling. They also explored different shades - light & dark and also learnt about primary, secondary and natural colours.

The Lighthouse – Study Tour to Dakshinamurthi Vidhyarthi Bhavan – Balamandir, Bhavnagar.
A school of Gijjubhai Badheka…Gijjubhai Badheka was an educator who helped to introduce Montessori education methods to India. He is referred to as “Moochhali Maa”. Gijjubhai had an experimenter’s scientific rigour, the urge to do and demonstrate something new, the perception to be able to find the sparks in the dark educational system of that time, and above all faith. Guided by these, he embarked on his journey into the realms of education, and left behind a rich legacy of work writing.
The main purpose of Dakshinamuthi is to give children freedom, self-learning with discipline. AECED has organized the study tour. Headmistress Madam Kalpana along with Ms. Purvi Majmudar and Ms. Ushma Shastri from the school visited on 3rd and 4th July 2025 to Bhavnagar. The tour has given many life learning experiences to cherish which guides us to keep childhood alive of young minds in their early age.
