Stars Of Pre-primary Education

Dr. Maria Montessori

August 31, 1870 - May 6, 1952. A Physician, educator and philosopher, Dr. Maria Montessori was best known for her philosophy and the Montessori method of education of children. Her educational method is in use today in a number of schools throughout the world.

Dr. Maria’s innovative approach was that “Education should no longer be mostly imparting of knowledge, but must take a new path, seeking the release of human potentialities”. Her method helps children to improve behaviourial and academic skills.

Jean Piaget

August 9, 1896 - September 16, 1980. Jeans Piaget was a Swiss Psychologist who developed the stage theory of Cognitive Development.

According to him children learn best through their 5 senses and therefore first-hand experience is necessary. They develop different concepts by touching, feeling, manipulating, exploring & experimenting. He believes adults should be in the background & they should not interfere in children’s movement & activities.

ગુજરાતીમાં બાળસાહિત્ય વિશેની સમજનો અને બાળશિક્ષણની વ્યવસ્થિત પધ્ધતિનો પાયો નાખનાર આ લેખકે બાળકોના રસને પોષે, એમના કુતૂહલને ઉત્તેજે, એમની કલ્પનાને જાગૃત કરે, એમના વ્યક્તિત્વ ઘડતરનો અંશ બને એવુ માહિતીપ્રદ છતાં, આનંદપ્રદ સાહિત્ય કવિતા-વાર્તા-નાટક જેવા વિવિધ પ્રકારોમાં વિપુલપણે પ્રગટાવ્યું છે. બાળ શિક્ષણના કાર્યો માટે તેઓને બાળકોની “મૂછાળીમાં ” વિનોદી” અને “બાળકોના બેલી" જેવા ઉપનામથી બિરદાવવામાં આવ્યા.

Character Essentials

Character essentials use character education to derive learning from each interaction. From the playground to the classroom, we take every opportunity to teach your child important character-building cornerstones, including respect, sharing manners, friendship and compassion.
