Hip Hip Hurray!

First day at school! Wake up! “Come on first day of school.”

The entire campus welcomed our tiny tots with balloons, puppets, toys and a big hug.  They were all happy, excited, and ready for new journey. Children started their day by morning prayer, followed by free play, music, and activity class.  Day was ended with a new bond and hope.

Yoga supports stress management,  mental health, healthy eating habits and quality sleep. Every year 21st June is celebrated as International Yoga day and Music day. On this day, children did various yoga poses and learnt about various musical instruments and their sound.

On the auspicious day of Guru Purnima our tiny tots paid respect to their teachers by touching their feet and presented a lively and energetic stage performance. They also learnt significance of guru in their lives with the help of "Eklavya" story.

Toys are not all fun and games, they are best medium to build pre-academic skills like creativity, problem-solving, language development and most important, it helps to develop social skills. Toy Day was planned where in children brought their favourite toy and had fun with sharing the same with their friends.

Oh my little butterfly, you are very colourful.

Introduction of rhyme butterfly was done in a very innovative way.  Children enacted butterflies by wearing wings made of colourful scarfs. They were taught about colours, wings, flower, garden with this beautiful rhyme.  Children enjoyed singing the rhyme and explore the imagination of garden.

Introduction of colours was conducted in Jr.KG. To make them thorough with this, different activities like using of colourful duppatas, caterpillar activity, mixing of colours, and flag race was done in the class.  This helps our children to learn, observe and practice for colours in a fun way.

Pre-writing skills helps a child to build its finger strength, eye hand co-ordination, wrist movement and grip strength.  It develops the ability to hold and move the pencil effectively.

Children practices with the help of activities like using bottle tops, threading beads, buttoning the shirt, lacing board, clipping, tearing and crumpling in the class.

Dry fruits are an excellent source of nourishment. They help in proper growth of our child. To know the importance of healthy food, our children brought different dry fruits from their house and learnt about their importance. At the same time, they learnt the concept of Sharing is Caring by sharing the same with their friends.

Clay - where dreams take shape

Clay helps child to improve eye/hand co-ordination and build both gross and fine motor skills, including the small muscles in hands and fingers. Our creative tiny tots made several artistic things from clay like house, caterpillar, cones etc. and later learnt the concept of hygiene by washing their hands.

Free play improves the cognitive, physical, social and emotional well-being of children. Through play they need to express their own way of thinking. Our children enjoyed playing on slides, swings, see-saw, merry-go-round etc. Play boosts creativity and helps you make friends.

Camping is a simple act of being in a particular location where you get to appreciate nature. It helps us to calm and relax. It engages us in activities that promotes team work and cooperation with others. Children had great time with their friends in tent and learned that why and when tent is used.

An article is word that is used to indicate that a noun is a noun without describing words. We can improve the use of articles by learning and applying few basic rules. To make the understanding of articles more clear , children participated in activity with puppets which helped them to clear the concept of articles.

Our Senior KG champs, presented their stage performance on the topic "Bachpan" on 28th July. It comprises of several energetic performances and beautiful dialogues.

Parents were mesmerized to see their children performing on stage with confidence and energy. Dance performances took parents to their innocent childhood and revived their memories of old games and food items.
