Festival : Independence Day

Independence Day marks the birth' of India as a free Nation. It is about remembering the past, understanding the value of freedom and instilling a sense of patriotism. Our school celebrated a special event on the occasion of Independence Day with pomp and great joy which included singing patriotic song, speech by children and a dance performance.
A small skit on Freedom from Gadgets' was also presented. This was a small initiative to encourage kids to learn and enjoy spending their time outside the virtual world. A sense of pride and happiness for our country could be seen on the faces of our tiny tots.
Festival : Rakshabandhan

As per the Sanskrit terminology, the occasion of Raksha Bandhan means "the tie or knot of protection" where "Raksha" stands for the protection and "Bandhan" signifies the verb to tie. Our students at Bright Play Centre went one step ahead, beyond their biological ties and developed bond with their environment. They showed their gratitude to the trees by tying a rakhis thereby taking a vow to protect the trees and environment which is our lifeline.
Also, they showed their gratitude by tying rakhi to the dignitaries from Police officials and NCC Associate Naval Officer of our School Amit Ghag and thanked them all for always being a strong pillar of the society.
Festival : Janmashtami

Janmashtami, a Hindu festival celebrates the birth of Lord Krishna on the 8th day of the dark fortnight of the month of Bhadrapada. It is also called 'Shri Krishna Jayanti 'which is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna. Janmashtami is celebrated as a symbol of the end of darkness and rooting out of the evil forces. A splendid and colourful performance was presented by the students of KG section depicting the birth of Lord Krishna with a message of victory of good over evil.
Festival : Grandparents Day
Std : Playgroup, Jr. KG. and Sr. KG.
Our Grandparents are story tellers, personal game centres, favourite cooks, polite teachers and a bunch of unconditional love. They have multiple roles to play. They are heroes for their grandchildren. What children need the most is the essentials that their grandparents provide in abundance.
With a strong belief in the oral and holistic development of a child, Bright Play Centre continues to instill values throughout. On one such ceremonial occasion, students of Sr. KG and Prep celebrated Grandparent's day. The day was filled with full of blessings, happy faces, excitement and cheer as the kids displayed their love and affection for their grandparents.
Exciting games were conducted for the grandparents. The Grandparents were very supportive and brought out the child in them through their active participation.
Festival : Ganesh Chaturthi

Seeking the blessings of Lord Ganesha,we welcomed the Almighty with full devotion. On the campus, we bid a hearty farewell with great pomp .Lord Ganesha's idol was moved to each & every class to make it a blessed place.
Activity : WALK MY WAY - Family game
The memories we make with our family is everything. Family members play a vital role in child’s life and in order to make the children learn it at ease, teachers arranged interesting games for them. Teachers designed a pathway which included different cut-outs of Family members through which they associated their own family members. Remembering and speaking out names of family members was a challenging task which they accomplished to a great extent. The game ended with a holistic learning experience.
Activity : Red Color Day
Date : 13.09.2023
Red is one of the three primary colors, along with blue and yellow. Learning about colours helps kids sort, organize, categorise and compare objects. During CCA session teachers made children speak 2-3 sentences on the Red colour objects which were displayed in the class. They enjoyed sorting games.
Activity : Walk My Way
Std : Jr. KG.
Gross motor skills are important for major body movement such as Walking, maintaining balance, coordination and reaching. These abilities share connections with other physical functions. To fulfil this our Jr. KG children enjoyed “Walk My Way” activity in which they performed various walking patterns like jumping, climbing, sliding etc.
Activity : My Family Game
Std : Jr. KG.
A Family is a group of individuals living under one roof with certain set rules and practices. A family boosts confidence and makes every member feel loved and respected. Family is the pillar of everyone’s strength. Our Jr.KG tiny tots were able to identify family members and the type of family they belonged to.
Activity : Community Helper
The main role of any community helper is to guide and help the members of the community to make their lives comfortable. They have different roles depending on the specialization of their Jobs. Teaching about community helpers helps children recognize the people they can trust in certain situations. Helpers Meet was conducted for students of Prep class wherein children dressed up as community helpers, spoke a few sentences on their roles in society. Our aim was to create awareness about the role of community helpers in day-to-day life and express our gratitude for their presence in our lives.
